The questionnaire or an interview (more or less structured) can really be therapeutic and definitely is an awakening process by itself, but what I love about the oracles is that the clients don’t need to spend much time telling me all their problems.
In a short session, you can get quick insights at an intuitive level to do by yourself the adjustments you need to do, thanks to the input and the experience received from the session, in addition to what your process suggests all along.
Bach Flower Therapy is about healing yourself and doing the work yourself, but it is also great to get some help, support, and guidance along the way! The flowers and the information provided in the session will also support you on an unconscious level.
Over the years, I have found that offering oracles for my clients has been the simplest and most profound way to be fully aligned with their unconscious. It is a balanced method that has rarely failed me! This means that everyone who has opened up to it has felt satisfied to see reflected aspects of themselves in the flowers, and they have felt that it was right for them. Sometimes the method did not fit at the moment, but later, when the client gave it more thought, the truth revealed itself in a dream or in another way that he or she did not expect.
For me, oracles are simple and profound, two qualities that go hand in hand. They are simple because it is natural to be drawn to choose one card over another—in which case, the energy guides you all the time if you pay attention. Oracles are also profound because synchronicity, which ties things together in mysterious ways, is the most powerful force in the universe.
If oracles are done well (i.e., mindfully and with the right conditions), they bring the unknown to the table to be seen and recognized—another reason why oracles are profound. They help us to do the inner work for our better functioning, self-development, and growth.
Oracles reveal what is unconscious, filling the moment with meaning that allows you to move on. Of course, there is a process that the unconscious manifests and guides the way. Usually, our rational mind blocks us from finding solutions by providing us with too many options, making it difficult to pick one that feels right or best.
When intuition is aligned with the higher self, the non-rational part of the Self provides the best or a very good solution for the client to consider or to pay attention. Interestingly, we are able to suddenly and precisely feel it (but not think it) at a non-rational level.
Our soul's purpose really looks for this revelation, but we need to make the space to quiet the mind and slow down the process to find it. So, making space for this revelation to occur and listening to what is there for us to emerge, is pretty crucial to be in alignment with our minds, bodies, and souls. Psychotherapy or any kind of healing modality based on these principles can facilitate that crucial new birth and alignment!
At the side of the initiate that receives the oracle, a desire (conscious or unconscious) is always present and the ideal is to ask and meditate on the right question when choosing your flower cards. In this case, what is great is that you can walk home with the information that presents itself revealed, and be ready to work with it consciously while you start taking the remedies that are going to help you to do the work and find the balance you need.
We could finish this presentation by saying that doing the oracles with the Bach Flower Remedies is a very balanced or a harmonic approach to healing that breach together the conscious and unconscious worlds! What a perfect match!
